I believe that life should be lived by design not by default. I look for clients who wish to form long-lasting relationships and are intentional about their future. Together, we create financial confidence so they can focus on what is more important than money - living an enriching and fulfilling life.
I grew up in the DFW area as the oldest of four kids. My Cuban-born parents spoke nothing but Spanish to me until I was old enough to go to kindergarten, so I learned English watching Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers. Thanks to them, I am fully bilingual. I attended The University of Texas (Hook 'em Horns!) and studied Government. During my time at UT, I was a member of the Texas Longhorn Band, marched in George HW Bush's inaugural parade, and served as a House Sergeant at the Texas House of Representatives where I shared an elevator and a laugh with then Gov. Ann Richards. UT fostered in me a lifelong commitment to learning and self-improvement and a deep love of Austin and the Hill Country.
I had a fruitful career in cybersecurity sales until 2018 when I decided to switch gears and pivot to financial services so I could help families prosper financially. I get more satisfaction doing this than anything else. My career has allowed me to live and make friends all over Texas - DFW, San Antonio, Austin, and now Houston.
I'm about to celebrate 10 years of marriage to Marisol and can't wait to see what the next 10 years hold for us. When I'm not at work, you’ll find me –
- Day-tripping across Texas, especially the Hill Country
- Visiting breweries and wineries all over Texas
- Suffering happily as a lifelong Texas Rangers fan (this is our year!)
- Cooking, brewing my own beer, relaxing by the pool, and watching lots of baseball
