Bill Graves

Financial Advisor

In March of 2000, Mr. Graves made an auspicious transition into financial planning while drawing on his prior experience in architecture. In architecture, nebulous dreams, translation of those dreams into plans, timelines for implementation, the coordination of various specialists during the process, and ultimately, the realization of those initial dreams were all the responsibility of the architectural firm. There is a strong similarity in financial planning. Listening to objectives, visualizing dreams, designing an initial approach, revisiting to confirm, coordinating the specialists and ultimately, constructing a customized, holistic portfolio of investments and insurance takes careful planning. So, Mr. Graves committed the same attention to detail and process upon entering the financial services over 21 years ago. Mr. Graves and his team at Rethink Wealth must also consider changing economic and market conditions as well as tax law changes for businesses and individuals with respect to business planning and estate planning. He understands the effect of each step and its timing on the outcome and brings specialists in to help develop strategies for each individual situation.

Bill uses his Series 7, 63 and 66 securities licenses, his Group 1 Life and Health license as well as experience gained over the years to develop plans to meet client objectives. Throughout the years, he has also taught continuing education to financial advisors and CPAs concerning various topics including Retirement Accounts, Social Security, Medicare, Estate Planning and other advanced subjects.

Personally, Bill was blessed with two gifted and thoughtful teenage daughters and a wonderful fiancé and considers her three amazing boys as his own. As the modern-day Brady Bunch, he enjoys family time boating, skiing, deep sea fishing, hiking, biking, rock climbing and playing golf with all of them. As an avid health nut, Bill can usually be found in the gym at 5:30am doing P-90X and weight training while listening to educational presentations motivational music and inspirational speeches.
